Text clips are a quick, minimally intrusive way to make a comment or add a link to a section of video. Take special care of how long the text clip is displayed during playback. By default, text clips are 5 seconds long. Sometimes, this isn't long enough for your viewer to read the content.

You can easily use direct manipulation on the timeline to change the length of the clip. A good rule of thumb is to take the amount of time you require to read the text and multiply it by 1.5x. Another tactic is to refine text clips to be as few words as possible.
